Made a stop into Lowe's for some random items and saw that the Ego hedge trimmer was on sale for 20% off the regular price. I've been eyeing this as I was given an Ego trimmer and also since my Ryobi tools are only 18v...sometimes that's not enough power for yard stuff based on my past experience. The deal says it goes till May 29, so for I personally can wait a little bit more and see what Ryobi Days deals might look like before pulling the trigger.

The cheapest I've seen this model is $135, and the shorter 24 inch was $99. Seeing how batteries can be costly, this is a decent deal.

I got this for the same price (wish I had seen $135) and I'm satisfied with it. Even with having the carbon fiber railing and only a 2.5ah battery, it's still got some heft, but it eats branches like there's no tomorrow. I couldn't imagine to non carbon fiber railing, or the bigger battery. My arms probably would've fallen off.
