I do watch repair and have been involved in the Jewelry industry for years. I've used a few different ultrasonic machines. From expensive well known brands to the cheap stuff. I currently use a small square style one. It was about twice this price, but I strongly recommend it over ones like this because of a couple reasons

1.) it has physical knobs for temperature and on/timer.

2.) The heat is intense. Which is great for really difficult cleaning.

I also prefer the more industrial type ones like I have because the entire thing is stainless steel and no plastic, which will get brittle and degrade over time with heat and cleaner solutions.
