i5-1215U???
It's actually an i5-1235U per this spec sheet from Lenovo:

Pretty ho-hum configuration, and only 8GB of soldered RAM with no SODIMM slot is a major problem.

So I've got one of these, except it's blue and it's only got a 256 SSD in it. Other than that, looks identical for specs. For regular usage, it's absolutely great. Bought it for myself refurbished for like $250 on eBay, but my wife immediately stole it so she could have something reasonably sized she could run the full version of Excel on.

It gets used for travel, watching movies and such, a decent amount of web browsing, and a LOT of spreadsheet work, and it's a fantastic little machine for that. It's not playing any fancy video games, but it's literally all most would need for a home PC these days. Screen's decent, at least indoors, I've never had a reason to take it outside. It's snappy as hell, instant logins for multiple accounts with the built-in fingerprint reader, and the build quality seems very solid. It's maybe a touch on the heavy side for something its size, and it's definitely thicker than my Chromebook, but it's not anything that I notice regularly.

I don't know if I'd say that $420 for it is a screaming good deal, but it's absolutely a reasonable price if you need something solid and basic for a Windows machine.

I bought a lenovo 5i refurbished about 8 months ago, it came in like new for 380.00 from lenovo. It has touch, i7-1255u with 12 gb ram, and 512 gb ssd. It has been a nice machine.

The Dell offer at $280 is way better than this for similar specs.

I got an ASUS laptop with i5-1240p, 8GB RAM & 256GB SSD with a high-res OLED screen for $500+tax back in 2022. I wouldn't call a laptop with worse specs that costs $420 today anything like a screaming deal.

(sold the laptop recently because of the heat of that specific model and the small RAM. I wouldn't recommend anyone getting a 8GB laptop in 2024. You'll regret it someday.)

8 gigs. Same as this one. Same processor, etc. Far as I can tell, specs are all identical except the bigger SSD.
