I just wanted them to link some bullshit so I could call it out. They're complaining about this battery for stupid reasons. No duh if you put the max draw on a battery, it's not gonna last long. I'd rather have a small battery with fast input and output than a huge battery with slow input and output.
If I need more capacity, I can buy more batteries. But there's no easy way to dump two batteries into one USB device simultaneously for more power.
Link to the 200Wh power bank for 45 bucks, please?

This power bank is good for 140 W per port. It stores only 100 Wh which is good because you probably can carry it onto a plane. On the other hand, it can only provide 140W W for 40-45 min. If you plug in two devices and draw 250 W it will only last 20-25 min. The ability to power two high power devices for 20 min does not sound all that useful to me.
You can get a similar power bank on Amazon that stores 100 Wh and can provide 140 W for $75 or less.
A 65 W power bank is a pretty good option for laptop use. You should be able to charge slowly even while using the laptop. Power banks that provide 65W are cheaper still. For example 200 Wh for $45.

I have no doubt you can find SOME powerbank that can do 200Wh 45W for $45, but really for big power batteries like this I'm really not interested in entertaining the no name brands and risking fire and electronics damage. The Anker lantern power bank is a good value but that is $100+.

Right, imo if Anker is charging $x for y, then that is how much a properly designed and constructed y should cost at retail.
Some nonsense on monoprice does not belong in the compare column.
I grabbed a bunch of these when Best Buy price errored these down to $30
They're fine. For whatever reason it doesn't seem to want to charge my normal iPhone over normal USB to 100%, I'm currently sitting here at 75% at 5am
I'm sure there's some sort of optimized charging setting I'm not using but I just don't want or need my battery to be this 'smart'
Curious if anyone has the charging base and felt it was a good purchase?
The Anker Prime series of power banks all report 100% when they're actually 80% charged. They continue charging for another 30min depending on charger wattage without indication that they are still charging. This can be easily seen by comparing "Cumulative Usage Data - Input Power" when it says it's done charging vs 30min later.
Now here's the kicker... According to a Redditor that bought a base, If one is using the dock the power bank stops charging at the fake 100% and they're left with a 80% full power bank. To charge it up to the real 100% they have to use USB-C. 🤦 ♂️
Until they stop this nonsense and update the power bank's firmware to show the real state of charge it's not worth buying the base. The latest firmware is 1.4.7 and still has this issue.

How did you find out about that price error? Slickdeals or somewhere else?
Yes. Supposedly most of the Anker batteries with 24 month warranties are lifepo4
