There's a pattern with Tesla threads here. I don't care if you all wanna discuss the deal or the cars but it always turns into paaaages and paaaages of bickering back and forth and nobody ,except for the few involved, enjoy that or wanna wade through that. So cut that stuff out, please and thank you.
FYI just because it says "New" doesn't mean it qualifies for the 7500 tax credit. Demo models are new but do not qualify for 7500. If the specific inventory item qualifies it will directly say it on the site.

Best cars but depreciation and changing inconveniences (when you need it most) makes this a no go.
Also battery fails. Even my traxxas batteries fail in about 3 years. So a tesla is a disposable car.. But very nice
"A recent study from iSeeCars.com showed the average price of a 1- to 5-year-old used EV in the U.S. fell 31.8% over the past 12 months, equating to a value loss of $14,418."
I don't drive enough to offset that.
Imagine buying a car and factoring in resale value. If you're worried then just lease. That's why they exist.

You're right, it s a different mindset. My cars a paid off and currently EV doesn't make sense to people like me. Different demographic has different mindset of wealth management. You do you!

Why buy a brand new car if you don't drive a lot? The unnecessary depreciation hit is too much in that scenario. Just buy a used Corolla.
I drive 2001 saab 9-5 last for 23 years. Yeah, it's pos old car, but it still runs like a champ. I know we all love new tech and fancy, but remember that a car is just a car.
Wild how something that may have 2500 miles on it is filtered as "new"
I bought a VW Passat with 1100 miles and it was sold as new. Any car used internally and not registered is considered as New. I negotiated $5k off the price, it really depends if you want it
Just bought mine from Tysons Va. lot of wind noise coming from drivers vent when compared to my model 3 had to book a service appointment. Hope it gets fixed
