There's a pattern with Tesla threads here. I don't care if you all wanna discuss the deal or the cars but it always turns into paaaages and paaaages of bickering back and forth and nobody ,except for the few involved, enjoy that or wanna wade through that. So cut that stuff out, please and thank you.
FYI just because it says "New" doesn't mean it qualifies for the 7500 tax credit. Demo models are new but do not qualify for 7500. If the specific inventory item qualifies it will directly say it on the site.

"A recent study from iSeeCars.com showed the average price of a 1- to 5-year-old used EV in the U.S. fell 31.8% over the past 12 months, equating to a value loss of $14,418."
I don't drive enough to offset that.
The major growth wave of EV sales also coincides with the unprecedented pricing increases of 2020-2022. Now that pricing has come back to earth many consider that to be "depreciation", yet the same isn't factored for the $10k+ dealer markups that were prevalent in legacy ICE vehicles. I refuse to treat numbers from that abnormal period of time as though that's to be expected going forward.
I would definitely lease one but not right now. My car is still running pretty well for being 14 years old and I have no interest in taking another monthly payment.
A 10 year old corolla is a shit box. TBH, if you own anything past 6-8 years, they are out of date and in poor condition. Generally meant to be for poor people. A decent middle class standard is to treat yourself to a new car home 4 nice vacay which is middle class standard, also a reward for being productive member of a society.
Thinking like this is exactly why a lot of people are broke. I drive an 11 year old car and it still looks/runs great. If you take care of something it doesn't become a POS after 7-8 years. Amazing concept.

I was lucky to get an inventory MY long range for 45440 back in September last year. It was produced two weeks earlier with less than 20 miles. -500 referral bonus -7500 tax credit -2500 Texas incentive, the total 45440-500-7500-2500=34940 plus charge cable, delivery charge, tax and doc fee.
Lucky! My state doesn't offer any rebate whatsoever. Stingy bastards!
lol half of the people commenting on here can't even afford this car so not sure why they are on here putting in their 2 cents.
Anyways I bought mine in late Feb with the extra $1k off. I feel like I got a great deal and love it so far. Very fun and fast car to drive!!!!!!!! If you are in the market buy it now... I never understood waiting to buy something you really want just to save a couple of dollars. That only means you didn't really want it in the first place. Oh well my 2 cents lol!!!
What makes you believe people here commenting can't afford the car? People like you are called arrogant, and are a disgrace. My 2 cents
Have a feeling there is going to be a firesale on EVs. Government injected a ton of money into a product nobody wants and now they are all going tits up. Tesla will probably be OK but the rest are dying off left and right.
Get your facts straight instead of posting misinformation.
You're right, it s a different mindset. My cars a paid off and currently EV doesn't make sense to people like me. Different demographic has different mindset of wealth management. You do you!
Right everyone's situation is different. However sometimes some lease deals are better than actual purchases outright of a car.
The best one was when we leased a 2018 Kia Soul EV for $150/mo for 3 years. $2k down.
