Prices seem to be as follows: After the $7,500 credit and new discount, the Model Y RWD starts at $33,890, the Long Range at $37,490, and the range-topping Model Y Performance at $40,690.

There's a pattern with Tesla threads here. I don't care if you all wanna discuss the deal or the cars but it always turns into paaaages and paaaages of bickering back and forth and nobody ,except for the few involved, enjoy that or wanna wade through that. it's the same credit with the same requirements, the only diff is that in 2024, you can elect to redeem it at the point of sale if you wanted, you can still wait til tax season and take it just like in 2023. all the other requirements are the same
Downside is resale value, and I blame Hertz for what should be a temporary matter (and this may be partly why Tesla is having issues moving new inventory), but this car will be handed down due to its reliability should I ever decide to purchase a replacement. I've felt since the beginning that i was buying a care that would last 2 to 4x longer than any other car I've purchased prior. If I lose, or win, the battery lottery and it craps out after the 120k warranty I'll gladly plop down $15k for a replacement battery. Best car ever.

Also at no cost is that navigation uses real time traffic data for expected arrival time and appropriate route to avoid traffic. It just wont show you where the traffic is unless you pay. And another decent feature is maps are updated for free over the air.

To me the cost of tires worry me... but really, the savings outweigh the additional cost.
My wife gets free charging at work... was paying $100/week.
I know of to many people who own Tesla's for over two years and they have yet to have one problem.
Stick to the personal attacks, political posts, name calling and other obvious violations because it appears you guys are promoting the advertising by only allowing one side of the information to be presented.
The coordinated media coverage the last 4-5 months is all about one thing.....crushing options sellers and getting their shares cheap.
Should reverse now that they somehow bottomed this thing out at a PE < 40. Absurd the SEC just sits on their hands and watches this over and over.
I will be sure to contact you the next time I purchase something since apparently we should all have the same opinion of things and buy the things that you buy, lest we be called morons. Sorry that some of still aren't doing as we are told to do, but we will all fall into place so. and do as good animals are told to do. All animals are equal, just some more equal than others.
What if, just maybe, some of us don't see this as a good value right now and aren't willing to part with our hard earned cash on this deal? I don't jump on every deal posted on here. Maybe instead I'll look into how the used ones are and buy one of those instead, which is actually better for the environment. Buying used things is actually very good for the environment, I've purchased many used vehicles in fact.
