Anyone have this and care to comment on people saying the cup holders pop out too easily and the belt is too short and presses on the crotch?

That is accurate. I own two of these and my kids always complained that it would hurt pinch their leg/crotch area. The belt area is small and cant be adjusted further.

Would you say it's still worth it or have you heard of a better option at this price range?

DLX is the same at this except with even less features? But the seat belt is the same?

I do think it is worth it. You can make some small modifications to make it more comfortable. Occasionally you can get it cheaper at Target with trade-in and sales. I believe i paid around $160 each.

I have this. Been using it for year or. Paid 259 in store. Apart from the cup holder issue it's perfect. Just FYI. This is much bigger than usual car seat. If you have compact car, you will only able to seat 1 more person in the back.

I have this. No issues with the cup holders. But you really have to press hard to pop them in, so I'm assuming most people never actually got them in properly.

For the belt being too short, people are most likely not swapping the crotch belt position. As your child grows, you're supposed to lift the bottom pad and re-slot the belt. There are even two slots in the bottom pad for this reason.

Edit: caveat is that my kid is only a year and a half old. Not sure if the belt issue is something that arises in later years.

I have this car seat for my 4-year old. As mentioned above, we never had any problems with the cup holders. All we need to do is, press them little bit harder to get the 'click' sound.

Somewhat regularly the different Evenflo Revolve360 extend versions go on sale for low to mid 200s. I would say they are far superior in many ways. I've looked at this one in Costco and I don't see 200 as worth it unless you don't have the time to wait for a true slick deal.

Use Amazon or Target registry discount hack timed with another sale and much better options are not much more money.

It's $400 on Amazon...where did you find it for mid $200s? The registry hack is gone since the baby is a toddler already

I got a revolve360 on sale last year and like it, but babygearlab did its crash testing this year on it and it was pretty mediocre, unfortunately. Got a 5.4, way lower than all the other top picks including this DLX which was highest at 8.8.

Not sure I can link to the review but I'll try: babygearlab.com/topics/vehicle-safety/best-convertible-car-seat

Consider the size, I would prefer the target graco extend2fit over this one. It is about $50 difference which is enough for finding a new booster 5 or 6 years later

We have been using this for 3 years - never had an issue with the cupholders, I actually think they're difficult to take out to clean. My kid doesn't complain about the seatbelt at all, she is 3.5 now and tall for her age

Is this easy to move from Car to Car? For my infant, I bought 3 bases and installed on all 3 cars. It was super easy to use any car with just one seat. I think this model won't work as baby grown up so looking for various alternatives. Please help
