- $300,000 for married couples filing jointly
- $225,000 for heads of households
- $150,000 for all other filers
- The tax credit is not refundable, which means one must have federal tax due to take advantage of it. If the tax due is less than the credit amount, one can only claim the credit up to the amount of the tax due.

There's a pattern with Tesla threads here. I don't care if you all wanna discuss the deal or the cars but it always turns into paaaages and paaaages of bickering back and forth and nobody ,except for the few involved, enjoy that or wanna wade through that. You're right, I forgot V3 doesn't power share but it certainly doesn't feel like it.
FWIW, LFP Model3s have a lower max charge rate than the non-LFP cars- 170kw instead of 250kw
I'm not sure why you think someone has to own one to see the panel gaps and poor fit and finish.
Teslas are no secret society. By now most people have been in contact with one through friends and family, or employment or other means. Easy to see the flaws.
I mean what other manufacturer has a checklist out there to take with you to make sure you find all of the defects?

then it's $40k after $7500 tax credit if you qualify for it?
For the traffic, note that after the premium connectivity trial you have eight years of standard connectivity which just does not show the color (congested areas), but still calculate you the best/fastest route. That's not bad and you would get used to it.
For Hyundai, they provide the $7500 off as "bonus cash", I tried to buy one in March but working with dealership wasn't easy. They sneaked in thousands of charges and did not honor internet prices. And mind you their battery replacement could be very expensive.
Honestly, I'd put the chances of Nissan, Mazda, and GM going out of business a lot higher than Tesla. They are not looking to the future and have been hammered in China where a lot of their profits were coming from. Now they have to rely on US discounted fleet sales and everyone knows those margins are very bad.
im sure its a great car if you lease it for couple years and get rid of it, easy to ignore all the bullshit problems before they come up.
while the hype was high, at least you could pull a resale value argument. now even that's gone when the manufacturer cuts prices and farks over everyone who still has faith in the company while delivering a worse and worse quality vehicles.
tesla fans are the new apple fans. ignore, deflect, excuse every lie, manufacturing defects, unsubstantiated costs, anti-consumer practices the company pulls because you cant admit that their marketing owned you.

Also, Ionic 5 and 6 should be started producing in Georgia in October that may qualify them for tax credit
