There's a pattern with Tesla threads here. I don't care if you all wanna discuss the deal or the cars but it always turns into paaaages and paaaages of bickering back and forth and nobody ,except for the few involved, enjoy that or wanna wade through that. So cut that stuff out, please and thank you.
FYI just because it says "New" doesn't mean it qualifies for the 7500 tax credit. Demo models are new but do not qualify for 7500. If the specific inventory item qualifies it will directly say it on the site.

It's a 5-star rated car. The facts are better than your politics. Try reality ifpossible
I dont have a Tesla so I state that up front. Prices will go lower this yr. They are stuck. Second check the Reddit board of Tesla owners. Search for Tesla customer service. Its legendary. People who like the car report the service issues. So arguments over the car itself are? Buit when you buy a Tesla you rely on them for service. I am not just talking about the high costs of various repairs. The service itself. That and higher insurance. I am not a car guy. I buy/lease what works for me and I had alot of brands. These are some reasons I avoided Tesla at higher prices, but witrh the 7500/tax break. I dont drive alot so and EV can work perfectly.
Last couple times I took my MIL's Model 3 with LFP battery to our local supercharger (which is 250kW), I never hit more than 125kW (granted one time was with a cold battery). Both times I was around 30% or below. I took our Y LR there a few times too and I don't ever remember getting anywhere near peak. I've had similar experiences in Vegas and Baker as well.
You're right, I forgot V3 doesn't power share but it certainly doesn't feel like it.
A LFP model 3 is limited to around 170kw max at superchargers, just like it's limited to 32amps on a level 2 charger. It's part of the trade offs of LFP. The lower in charge you are the greater your max allowable charge will be up to 170kw on a SC.

FWIW, LFP Model3s have a lower max charge rate than the non-LFP cars- 170kw instead of 250kw
How come we get clown posts like? You don't even own one.
I'm not sure why you think someone has to own one to see the panel gaps and poor fit and finish.
Teslas are no secret society. By now most people have been in contact with one through friends and family, or employment or other means. Easy to see the flaws.
I mean what other manufacturer has a checklist out there to take with you to make sure you find all of the defects?

Right. But I'm still not getting close to that either. I just know I've never hit more than 500 mph (125ish kW) charging the LFP 3 at my local 250kW section. More often than not it's around 300 mph. I'll take a video next time I go there with a low charge state and warm battery.

then it's $40k after $7500 tax credit if you qualify for it?
wait till end of june if you can...tlsa sales are way down...elon will be slashing prices to get sales number up for the qtr. once the fake robo taxi pump goes away the stock will plummet and elon will be desperate again, then more price cuts
I've been shopping these for a week very seriously and I'm a little disappointed that they're $1,000 more then they were just a week ago. There are a few fewer spiffs on it now as well. I sure wish this had Android auto instead of requiring a stupid package at $100 subscription a year to have some Tesla OS features unlocked like being able to see traffic on a map. Still, it appears to be the best deal around for a good EV. I sure wish Hyundai qualified for the $7500 off on purchases!
Per past records, you should have shopped at the end of quarter except January which they clean up last year inventory. So next best price around should be the end of June.
For the traffic, note that after the premium connectivity trial you have eight years of standard connectivity which just does not show the color (congested areas), but still calculate you the best/fastest route. That's not bad and you would get used to it.
For Hyundai, they provide the $7500 off as "bonus cash", I tried to buy one in March but working with dealership wasn't easy. They sneaked in thousands of charges and did not honor internet prices. And mind you their battery replacement could be very expensive.
Ok so I never was really interested in EV until recently I rented the Y for next to nothing from Hertz... And surprisingly I really like it. Serious question though... If Tesla actually went out of business would that effectively end the use of the car? No security or safety updates, unsupported software, etc. Also can anyone ballpark a price for installing the fastest charger in a residential garage? TIA
Tesla has 39 billion in the bank and are profitable. There are many markets like India that Tesla is just starting to sell into. They have the best selling car in the world which is also the best selling non-fleet non-pickup truck in the USA (model Y). The electric vehicle market is growing at 25+% a year, so opportunity for more sales, even with more competition is there.
Honestly, I'd put the chances of Nissan, Mazda, and GM going out of business a lot higher than Tesla. They are not looking to the future and have been hammered in China where a lot of their profits were coming from. Now they have to rely on US discounted fleet sales and everyone knows those margins are very bad.

for how long? have you noticed you see no old teslas on the road?
im sure its a great car if you lease it for couple years and get rid of it, easy to ignore all the bullshit problems before they come up.
while the hype was high, at least you could pull a resale value argument. now even that's gone when the manufacturer cuts prices and farks over everyone who still has faith in the company while delivering a worse and worse quality vehicles.
tesla fans are the new apple fans. ignore, deflect, excuse every lie, manufacturing defects, unsubstantiated costs, anti-consumer practices the company pulls because you cant admit that their marketing owned you.

Bonus cash is still there till April 30, I normally send an email and asking for OTD price.
Also, Ionic 5 and 6 should be started producing in Georgia in October that may qualify them for tax credit
