Cut to the chase: "#" became typeset symbol for earlier stylized, handwritten "lb." symbol from ≈200 years ago, denoting pounds of weight.(See example in Wiki handwritten by Issac Newton...)
Translation: "#" = "pounds" (weight)

For example, first thing I see is that the lighter one doesn't have load lifters. Probably not the biggest deal with smaller packs, but once they start getting tall, they help to keep things from flopping around.
And most glaring is the weight of the Arrowhead pack. Just 2.14 lbs is crazy light.
For comparison, the Osprey Exos 48, a very popular lightweight pack, weighs about 2.8 lbs.
I think the specs of the Arrowhead pack are wrong. The size listed just doesn't match up with a 48 liter pack.

The Slumberjack backpack "lifetime" warranty has all sorts of qualifiers/limitations, but that might be the case to weed out egregious abusers.
Anyone have warranty experience with them? Lifetime warranty from reputable company very important in backpack I think. (Jansport is stellar, think Outdoor Products very good, too.)
Also compare this similar, and well-rated pack, with caveat that straps not height adjustable causing problems for taller men (this might also be case with featured Slumberjack):
