Don't sleep on this one. I have not used this particular reel but love Lew's products. Can't beat it at half price. (Referring the Lew;s Custom Pro)

Nice find, is the 200 3000 400 the size progression? I wish they could standardize the sizing, it's like pickup trucks. I picked up the 3000 Pro, seems like a legit half price clearance compared to Amazon. Also got the cheap hero 400. Thanks OP.

I ordered one of these yesterday. I'm a big fan of Lews & don't have a quality spinning reel so figured, why not?

Just a side note for those interested in this model. Apparently a few people have had problems with the bail closing during mid-cast. Which is concerning but I'm hoping that was limited to a bad batch

The TLC Pro 3000 delivered today. Bail seemed to stick if not in the right spot similar to how some of the reviews describe. Unfortunately, I'll be taking it back rather than risk the bail breaking.

A good inexpensive reel for the dock runner can also be the Shimano fx or sienna. Sienna has an extra ball bearing. When they go on sale, it's really inexpensive.
