Good stuff. I would like to see this closer to the 11$ range for it to be a deal.

There are still times where you can get petg and pla+ for under 10$ a spools.

But that being said, love overture. Works great all the time.

If you look at the camel, it drops to this price a few days about every month or so. Still about as low as it goes though, so I would consider this a deal. I don't need any immediately, but I picked up a few with subscribe and save and got another 15% off with my next S&S order.

Should I rather get PLA+ or will this be good enough?

Depends on what you need it for. The issue with PLA+ it PLA pro is that it is not a defined material so every company has its own recipe. Cheap companies might just rebrand their basic PLA and call it PLA+. So if you need PLA+ I would go with a decent name brand that people have reviewed. If you just need PLA go with whatever is on sale until you find brands that you like.

I bought this about a week ago. I love their PLA+ but this gives me stringing no matter what I do... Dried filament for 18hrs, lowered extrusion temp, etc., nothing works.

Get the orange indicating kind. Stay away from the cobalt containing blue ones.

Monoprice basic PLA always works well for me and I generally get it under 12 per spool.

Would be curious why so many down votes on this comment as I also get Numakers. They're not the cheapest but a good quality. Easier for me to go with a manufacturer with a good everyday price and decent quality than constantly waiting for a sale.

Ya, you can also get 5% or 10% off with codes found online. I get them as low as $12.60 a roll and they are always amazing. Gone thru 20 rolls so far.

I just use a couple of those plugin ones with the orange beads (Blue ones apparently contain cobalt and are poisonous, only benefit of them is a beautiful blue hue). Got one from Aldi that looks suspiciously like this Eva Dry unit(https://www.amazon.com/Improved-Eva-dry-333-Renewable-Dehumidifier/dp/B000H0XFCS/ref=sr_1_8?crid=2AY... [amazon.com] and one from Wal Mart that is just another Eva Dry unit.

You could save a few bucks and use the ones you put in the oven to dry, but that sounds a lot more difficult than just plugging it in, and in the volume of filament I use, 2 was more than enough.

If you need a plastic spool for your AMS unit, I've had good luck with Tecbears Black PLA, which is a little cheaper than this.
