Ymmv as this may be in select stores only but all stores near me in CT are running the same price. Briggs and Stratton Pressure Washer surface cleaner is clearance for $21.92. Original price seems suspiciously high, but for just over 20 dollars I am more than willing to give this a shot.

Just as an fyi to those that have never used these..... the cheap one's run on brush bristles, meaning it's weight is supported by bristles so drag is really high when you try to use it. After using your first one that rides on bristles you will be convinced to go buy one that rides on wheels. Save your money and just get one that rides on wheels to begin with.

There are youtube videos of people putting wheels on surface cleaners (I haven't) but their opinion is they should have just bought one with wheels and it would have worked better. Vs retrofitting one with wheels. Cost of surface cleaner + retrofit wheels = close enough that you might as well just buy one with wheels.

Not sure I agree completely.... I just bought and used this today. There was zero resistance, likely from the jets lifting it off the surface from the pressure.

It honestly felt like sliding a puck on an air hockey table.

I'm headed to buy a second one for the price so I have it if this ever wears out.

I'm glad your experience is different than mine and that of many other people's. Could be that your pressure washer is one strong enough to do as you say, develop enough lifting force to make the bristles be weightless. I have an electric pressure washer and it sure does not develop the same lifting and the bristles drag, a lot. But my wheeled surface cleaner does not have the same issue because of the wheels. There are lots of variables and many people are in the same situation as me, without wheels, it just does not work well.

The ad says 3400 psi so that might be the problem not enough water pressure to push the unit off the working surface

you have a wimpy power washer. On normal powerwasher the head floats over concrete due to the force of the jets.

Hmm, wimpy eh ? Maybe, but is there a reason why the commercial surface cleaners that run on trailer mounted units, have wheels ? Must be some reason why the pro surface cleaners have wheels. Maybe because it works ? Don't get me wrong, there are a few pro surface cleaners without wheels, but they are the under $1000. All the one's I can see that are above $1k all have wheels. So I guess only the cheaper low end units don't have wheels ? I dunno, maybe look up pro units and see for yourself ?

Commercial grade heads are much bigger to get the job done quicker and are made of stainless steel, not plastic except for the tubing. Makes huge difference for weight....

Your not wrong.... but some are suggesting that somehow not having wheels is assumed or is universally better, and it simply isn't. Many have voiced that in various videos and posts of their experience, yet some here argue that it is somehow wrong ? I just figured those that make money from it (professionals) and are really interested in results and not B.S. that their choices have weight on this matter.
