I was looking at the Samsung deals but could get the price right with govt discount.
Maybe memorial Day we'll see some sales.
Bought it 2 weeks ago for $1949.
I don't think the G3 65" is going to get any cheaper so you should be good if you buy it now. I never owned a Gallery Series OLED so I'm tempted to get the G4 83" once it hits 50-60% off.

At least it wasn't a pioneer
Are they gonna put the MLA panel on the 83" this year? Otherwise seems like a waste of money. Also the 3 series is the last to have an ATSC tv if you're a cord cutter and watch anything with an antenna. Down in Miami the found four major networks have it and 1080p (4k rarely) looks really clean over the air. NCAA tournament would have looked really good.
Yup! MLA is included on the 83" model this year. That's the only reason I want it. I have the LG C1 77", and I've been looking to replace it for a quite a while. The LG G3 83" didn't have MLA so it was an instant pass for me. 4K144 works well with my gaming PC. My wife and I stream everything so I'm not too concerned about ASTC.
Oddly enough my 2022 lg 65 c2 has zero issues and picks up my neighbors WiFi networks many houses away.
If she has an extra HDMI slot, she should get an Apple TV 4K or NVIDIA Shield Pro. External streamers provide a better experience when compared to OS on TV's. I tried Android, Tizen, and WebOS over the years and I still prefer to use an Apple TV 4K.
