Bought this dishwasher in Feb 2022 and loved it until it died yesterday. Only a 1 year warranty, so we'll have to pay to fix it. It's $275 for a new board, so maybe time to buy another dishwasher

Ooof.. I know the feeling. My Costco GE dishwasher died within a few months of the extended warranty expiring. I swear the manufacturer put a timer to self explode in these appliances.

After a few years of keeping track of dish washer deals, it seems like Bosch is the only top tier brand

Samsung appliances are basura. Washers, frdges, dishwashers... All of them. They also don't honor warranty periods either and will blame you if you buy water filters from anyone but them. Awful company.

More than price discount, all retailers charge at least 250+ for the installation charges

While its a slightly upper mid level machine the one major issue is that Samsung appliances dont last. They have the highest return & failure rates in the entire appliance industry. Warehouses for them are always filled w/ their repair and return units because the support for their products aren't there. If you have any issues w/ a Samsung appliance it will take several weeks to get a technician out to you unless you buy a 3rd party warranty, and then its going to take them like 2-4 months to get the part from Korea because they don't stock most of their parts in the US.

If you're looking to get a nice Korean appliance LG is where its @ because their parts logistics are actually available and the customer service is significantly better. This info comes from being friends w/ 3rd party appliance repair technicians and resellers. Thats just the schtick w/ Samsung fridges, dishwasher, ovens, etc...

Get a Bosch. 800 series if possible.
Went to buy a Samsung or LG years ago and the sales agent literally said they were junk.

been using the Bosch for 3 years now without issue.

I bought a Bosch after hating all my other machines. So far its the best dishwasher I've ever owned. Hopefully it lasts

This is the problem I've seen with Samsung.
It's all about the parts availability and cost. All appliances break, not all appliances are cost beneficial to repair.
With Samsung, it's typically control boards.

Bosch or bust, I've never had luck with anything else and it seems to be a common issue with most of these appliances. Neighbors branch blend GE flooded their kitchen 4 months ago, they got a Samsung and it started leaking 3 months into ownership after a kitchen remodel
