I don't really need this as I've still got 10mon this to go - how great a deal is this and will there likely be more closer to my renewal date?

Remember you can apply the activation code 180 days before your expiration date. Take my case for an example. Mine will expire in July, 2025 but I can apply the code in January, 2025. I have around 9 months to go. Based on my experience, Newegg's Quicken expires in ~1.5 years. $32 is really a good deal.

This is a better than usual deal. If you don't think you'll lose the code in 4 months, I'd order now then add the code when you're at the 6months until renewal mark. I have about the same time left on my subscription and just ordered.

I really wish they'd let you stack up to 5 years like Microsoft 365, but this is a good price so I'm in for one even though I'll have to wait 4mon to apply the code.

Does quicken completely lock you out after the subscription ends or can you still use the software to some capacity?

You can still use the software but not download transactions. In addition, considerable screen space will be taken to let you know your sub expired so you will lose a fuller view. I'm sure there are other features that you can't use, but don't know which they are and which you use. I'm sure viewing on webpage no longer works for example, but I don't use that.
