The vacuum experts say to never buy a Shark because Shark is one of the few companies, maybe the only company, that actively goes out of its way to prevent you from repairing their vacuums at all. They don't sell replacement parts, period. They use near proprietary screws (torx security bit) of various sizes that the vast majority won't have the tools for. They even make internal tabs for the exterior shell that snap together so if you try and take apart the vacuum it will break the tabs and then they won't fit securely together anymore.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0uEat894ywQ

Also Shark's warranty is useless and is more of a scam. They only guarantee parts that aren't subject to "wear and tear". So hoses, belts, cords, switches, pedals, the entire floor head, none of those are covered. You'll discover that basically the entire vacuum is under wear and tear and nothing that commonly needs repairing will be covered.

So if you're ok with buying an expensive, basically disposable vacuum every few years then buy a Shark. I would never buy anything from a company like that. As for Dyson, the experts say not to buy from them either. I forget the reasons. I think it was because their vacuums are very expensive and aren't that well built for the price. If you have the money to spend on a Dyson you should get a "buy it for life" vacuum instead like a Sebo, Numatic, or Miele (although people say Sebo is better than Miele in almost every way). They're made to let you repair them and have great performance and warranties.
They had the Tineco c2s for 30 dollars on clearance at my Walmart about 6 months ago. My only regret is I didn't get another one or 2 but a woman who worked there starting taking them all and I guess hid them in the back before I could. It's a shame because there were a lot of them about 12 or 15. It's worth it at this price posted if you need a cordless stick vacuum. Filters are cheap and easy to find to
which is nice.
I got one on clearance at $35 in store few months ago and loving it! I somehow like it better than my Dyson especially the pricing and functionality I think it's comparable.

As a $50 disposable, the Tineco is fine. I think of it like the modern version of my parent's rechargeable DustBuster. There are several stories on R about lack of customer support and lack of repair parts, worse than Shark even, but if you see it as a 3 yr investment, it's probably fine.
I have the Walmart version is the vac mop thing and when it broke they had me mail it in for free and repaired it- I couldn't believe it!

I have the Tineco A1, with a 350W motor, and replaceable batteries (bought a spare/replacement off eBay for ~$20, used but working well).

I would NOT buy the C1, if it has only a 250W motor, as that's like 33% less suction.

Going to buy the C2, worth getting the additional 3-year insurance for $10?

Got the C1 today (got over the C2 for the included attachments) - it is fine. Quiet but strong enough pick up small messes (which is why I bought it). Can hardly push the floor attachment over low pile rugs, but I wasn't expecting it to do that. Tempered expectations and I think it's a good deal

What about when it comes to cordless vacuums?

It's bizarre that a clearance item would increase in price! Normally, they'll either sell out or are eventually reduced in price.

dogsoap can you tell me if it includes all of the attachments shown in the pictures? The flex kit is what I am referring to. It's shown in the first photo and in the video but not listed in the specs. Thanks!

Unfortunately, it only includes the Crevice Tool and 2-in-1 Dusting Tool. I didn't even realize there were two other things shown in the picture, haha. Dang... maybe I'll try contacting Walmart / Tineco about the deceiving photos.

Does anyone know of any difference between the C2 model linked and this other C2 for about the same price (besides the color)?

My C2 arrived and I charged and used it. Exactly what I expected. Not as powerful as my Shark corded, but does the job and very convenient and easy to use. So far so good.

Thanks for the info. I was contemplating on getting the weaker (and probably cheaper made) C1 mainly because of the 4-piece accessory set (which is sold separately for $60 [amazon.com] on Amazon since 2019) plus the mini power brush. Without the set, the C2 at only $12 more is a better deal than the C1.

But then the vac wouldn't be good for car vacuuming without the hose (the vac is too bulky to clean foot areas and nooks and crannies for small car and home/stairs, which is important for my use case). Whereas generic Dyson accessories are obscenely cheap like this 6 piece kit with hose [amazon.com] for $21, 10-piece kit [amazon.com] for $25, or hose alone for $10, but Dyson's are costly and overkill for me not to mention bulky (the penalty of motor and battery that keeps getting larger with each new model). Decisions decisions.

FYI, the Tineco C2 appears to be a rebadged A10 series (same 350W motor, removable 2Ah battery with 25min runtime). The PWRHERO 11 Snap C3 is obviously a PWRHERO 11 series (450W motor, 40min runtime with 2.5Ah battery). I saw a Tineco C1 box on eBay that says 300W motor so maybe Tineco gave it a slight power bump. There is also a stripped down "A10-Dash" model out there with 300W motor and 3-LED floor brush head so maybe that's where the C1 comes from.

Update: apparently, Tineco raised the price of the C1 with 4-piece kit and mini power brush back to $100.

As with all cordless vacuums, you'll need new a battery eventually. Can't seem to find replacements for C2 on Amazon, though there's a few for A-series.
I e-mailed them, and they said the C2 uses the same battery as the A10. I looked at the battery on my C2 and it's model A10-05.

Same here. Just a matter of how long the vacuum and battery last. Mine isn't getting heavy use, so hopefully it will last a while. I figured for $63.00 it was worth taking a chance.
