Good little bookshelf speakers. Bluetooth works well and switches quickly between devices.
Has pretty punchy sound but not crazy bass. They get pretty loud.

These have sub out option, which, from user reviews, seems like a very important distinction since these aren't the most powerful and strongly benefit from a sub. The 1700BT does not have sub out. Better off waiting for the 1700BTs to drop down to <$130 again.
Ideally, make sure whatever you hook them up to has some software EQ presets.
