Pass. Always get expandable. You'll regret when you actually need to expand it to fit in extra stuff you pick up in a trip
I just came back from traveling. Plenty of space when I left. Needed to expand and sit on it to close it on return 😂
Just take your receipt to returns and they will refund the difference if bought within the last 30 days.

How good is this luggage?

I like it a lot. It's not expandable and not soft side, but that doesn't bother me. I like the sturdiness and non-buckling of hard side when rolling across the airport. I hit the weight limit before I hit the volume limit most of the time, so expandable would not help either.

Used this on a trip to Japan and it was solid but the Roll On is small compared to our other standard size roll on bags that are a true 22 x 14 x 9"

For anyone doing a price adjustment, are you guys seeing this in store or are you telling them it's cheaper online? I don't see it at my local Costco anymore.

I work for an airline and spent considerable time in baggage services. Do not buy any polycarbonate hard side luggage. Luggage is simply subject to too much rough handling during baggage transport and loading. Over 90% of damaged baggage claims are hard side luggage. Major weak spot is the area around the wheels. The plastic isn't reinforced and constantly the wheels stress on the corners and crack the corners of the wheels break off.

If you hardly ever fly, maybe this is ok. If you primarily carry on. Maybe ok. If you check your luggage or load heavily - not ok.

It is expensive, but I would buy Luggage Works. Pilots use these bags. They get the literal crap beat out of them like a war and they hardly ever break. If they do - full lifetime warranty.

Even if you don't want a nice indestructible bag. Just get a nice soft side.
Agree. Actually I only stay with softside 2-wheel inline luggage. I used to spend 8+ weeks on the road each year. The first time I used a 4 wheeler was an island hopping trip in Greece and one wheel snapped easily upon landing in Athens. Can anyone imagine how hard it is to roll a 3-leg 28" luggage across multiple cities?

Unfortunately 2-wheel incline luggage are hard to be found nowadasy.

Anyone know what the return policy is on this? If i use it and end up not liking it, would they accept the return?

Luggage works is nice though some consider them tad ugly. But more importantly their weight is close to double that of "regular" bags. A carry on is 11-12 lbs and their typical size at 22" may not be allowed on many airlines.
They are specifically marketed for aviation crew and they have the luxury of not having to have their luggage measured or weighed.
