5% coupon may be YMMV. So far 2 saying they don't see the coupon.

Coway Airmega 400(G) Smart Air Purifier True HEPA Air Purifier with Smart Technology, Covers 1,560 sq. ft., Graphite

I bought the white unit recently at Walmart for $350, got 1.5% CB from my credit card and will get another 10% credit card shopping rewards. This is lower than recent sales of $342. It's great if you have the Amazon Chase card for another 5-6% rewards.

The unit is big but very quiet. Specs:

No wifi on this one. Just fyi.
I own the 300 & the 400. Both awesome units and neither have the wifi feature which are not needed. I set it to smart and it runs 24/7 and adjusts it's speed to the air quality. I wouldnt hesitate to buy another and also without wifi.
This is one of the best air purifiers available. At full speed it's still quiet enough that you can have it in your bedroom whereas most like the Winix ones are too loud. I have 6 of these in my home and over 20 at my business and donated to my children's school classrooms. No more allergies. I highly recommend this to anyone on the fence

For a filter yes.....but if you would look closer and read the description....he said filters as in plural because this unit takes two.

Or if you really want to motivate yourself you couid look on Amazon and see they are $37 for one. I will help you out further.....that means its $74 for a pair.

Where did you see 2 years? I've been replacing mine once a year because I thought that was the lifespan.

Filter lifespan varies drastically depending on how many contaminants are in the environment, someone with pets and irregular general cleaning would need to replace the filter more frequently to get the same level of overall circulation/effective cleaning. Yearly is a general guideline for the average home.

I see a post for $99 at Costco pretty often and their version comes with an extra set of replacement filter so that's 2 years of filters. Otherwise Winix and Woot has the refurblished for $70 (new filter).

I installed a 400S (model with WiFi) about 18 months ago. The filter works well and I *believe* that it has improved air quality in the house. For sure it gets unhappy when something aromatic is being cooked in the kitchen yummy

My only complaint is that it periodically complains about an unstable WiFi connection (like 1x week) but since I have enterprise-grade WiFi in the home, I ignore the message. If the WiFi-enabled version was on sale, I would purchase another one.
These need to be installed? What has to be done?

By install he means - unpack, remove filter protectors, plug it in and set wifi.

Yes, 400s. My only complaints after owning a couple for over 5 years is that there is no child lock, wifi can be finicky with certain routers, and the air quality sensor seems less sensitive than Winix models or even the Coway 200m that I most recently got. To be fair, I've never actually ever cleaned the sensor, gonna do that now.
Same. The lack of a child lock is a surprising omission that I didn't think I'd need. But it's really useful if you have pets that constantly like to jump on top of things.

Any Winix users here that had their bearing go bad and have this Coway unit? If so, question for you:

Does your Coway unit exhibit a very faint sound of when the bearing start to go bad?
I find it odd to hear this sound when the unit is brand new. I may just be paranoid as I've lost count to how many Winix units that have all exhibited bearing going bad.
