Definately buy if you are loyal to Dymatize isolate (which many are).
I would strongly recommend the vanilla in terms of value - it has a greater percentage of product that is actually protein and a lower cost per gram of protein. Only the vanilla gets to a price range of the less expensive brands of isolate.

Additionally, this is hydrolyzed so theoretically it should be the best when it comes to digestion and absorption.
There's nothing wrong with whey concentrate. I used ON Gold Standard for many years and with good results but I'm at a point now where I am more conscious of what I consume on a daily basis.

Geno-toxic. Have fun with that.

If you take gut cells out of the human body, and swim them in concentrations of sucralose manufacturing impurities, in far higher concentrations than could possibly exist inside your body (or even in full-strength commercial sucralose), outside the normal digestive system, bad things happen to those cells.
That says absolutely nothing about what happens in the human body, when swallowed, in normal concentrations. Given that Sucralose has been out on the market for decades and there aren't folks dropping dead from it, I'd call it pretty safe.
I'd rather take my chances with the sucralose than more sugar, especially since I've had T2 diabetes and reversed it with a reduced-carb diet. T2 is not awesome.
You'll see what happens when nobody buys.

I don't think Dynamize sells an unflavored version of this.
Probably because the flavoring is cheaper than the isolate, and they would have to think of another filler to keep the cost per pound of powder down.

Thanks for the warning. I'll try the 2lbs first to make sure I actually like it.

It's not a helpful article. Make people scared of sucralose (an unproven, but possible harm). They will most likely sugar, which is a proven harm - a major contributing factor to this country's epidemic of insulin insensitivity and obesity.
If you carefully analyze all the chemicals in everything you eat, almost everything is going to have some sort of harmful compound, even whole, natural foods. Fortunately, humans are well adapted as omnivores, and can survive/recover from the vast majority of them without any issue.

Again, the point is to put the information out there so people can make an informed decision on their health and it shouldn't be assumed that chemical additions to foods are "healthy" in any sense of the the word.
