yup. it's a special sale link... 99.99% of their deals have that. most manufacturers don't allow to advertise sales, unless they are across every dealer network...

Are these good for use as right and left speakers for music in a 2.1 setup?
Hope do these compare to the klipsch on sale now for about double a pair?
Casual living room sound, not critical listening.
Room is about 300sf, 9.5' ceilings.

That's not what the (relatively few) reviews on Adorama are saying. Do you have experience with this speaker? Do you have a recommendation for something better in a similar price point (<$100)?

Must we match the brands/models, if I am to add a center speaker to existing left and right towers? I'm not looking for critical listening, just a little more volume fill for casual movies/dialogues for a secondary basement setup?

Yes I have one sitting in my closet collecting dust. Movie dialogue sounded horrible with this center channel speaker. I'm sorry I do not have any recs for a good center channel speaker under $100. Good ones typically cost 300-500, which kind of takes away from a budget speaker system.

I have the exact center speaker and I have to say the dialog is extremely muddled no matter you do. I went ahead and spent more money to upgrade to a 504C center by Klipsch and the difference is amazing. Which the klipsch, I can hear whispers.

I have it, sounds fine… I mean I wouldn't compare it to a $400 center. But these normally go on sale for $100-$130. Well worth it at that price.

Please note that Adorama bought these in bulk as well as tons of klipsch speakers and they all have damaged boxes and the speakers could possibly be damaged Thats how they got them so cheap. As I said, I had this center speaker and it's horrible with muffled dialog. Save your money and get a klipsch or an SVS center channel.

I have one along with a pair of s803's. I don't feel they are as bad as some are saying. I find the series a bit "bright". I believe I get a little ear fatigue. I ordered a pair of Polk ES15 and a Polk ES30 center to compare. Should be here today. No, not under $100. $300 do each. But after listening to the Jamo for two weeks, I felt I owed it to myself to try a different speaker. One of them will be going back.
