How is the 4070 version compared to an Asus G14 w/ 4060?
Mostly interested in keeping the laptop docked at home +gaming competitively with occasional portability.

My GalaxyBook 2 was so dead with limited usage that I don't see these as a viable laptop. May be when they are on fire sale but even then, I would buy extended protection.

The price would have been good if the screen was less glossy just like the book 4 ultra and if it was also touchscreen.
I will hold for now until the price drops further or when the the Book 4 Ultra goes down in price.

This laptop was briefly down to $914+tax open box excellent at Best Buy and I got it (like new).

I am very happy with this laptop vs Asus zenbook 14.5 (120Hz OLED) and Acer Swift Edge (4K OLED) that I also have in my family.

1. Samsung is much quieter on daily tasks.

2. After months spent working on each of three above, Samsung OLED feels much better on my eyes. No flickering and text feels sharper. Possibly their pixels are positioned differently.

Samsung OLED is comparable to S9 Ultra tablet that I also have and better than OLED alternatives I tried.

P.S. The screen IS glossy, no touch, and doesn't open up 180 like Asus.

I agree with the screen on this laptop. It is quite frankly incredible compared to screens on any laptop I've had. It is much better, IMO, than my Galaxy Tab S8 ultra (which is also great). It gets brighter and has better overall image quality. To be fair you don't really realize this until you compare them side by side. My only critique is that it doesn't get as bright as an MBP16, and the reflectivity is a little high in a bright room. Aside from that, zero complaints.
