These things are almost never on sale. If you need these, this is a good price.
These go along with the Ring alarm system (need a base station) but it look like the protocol used in Zwave so it could potentially work with other hubs.

Now where to prioritize putting them.. Near water heater, dishwasher, and washing machine?
I do have my Ring alarm system without subscription.
You should take a hard look at Home Assistant. I ran SmartThings from release until about 4 years ago when my hub died.
