Upgradable RAM. And a 7840 paired with RTX 4050 for $700. Seems like a really good buy if you're looking for a mid range gaming laptop. Worth noting that I only look at 14" laptops, so maybe this isn't as great of a deal as I think it is.

At this price point... absolutely nothing. I've been looking hard and have seen some deals on 15" like this one, but nothing close to these specs in 14" at this price point. I didn't even need the 4050, I would be happy with the iGPU in the 7840U, but didn't find anything that met my needs for a price I wanted to pay. This discounted Predator Triton [amazon.com] was the best deal I found for a 14" but it wasn't the right fit for me.

I just settled for this guy instead. It's iGPU isn't going to get me far, but this is really just a work beater that can play some basic Steam games while I'm flying.

If I was going to settle on this price range for a laptop to do some gaming with...this deal for sure. It's an iGPU, not a dGPU like the 4050 on this Lenovo, but both the $700 variant, and the $800 variant do good [youtube.com] for iGPU.
