Think I saw this combo in-store at Lowe's on sale for 179$ but with a 2.5 ah battery though and this ace hardware deal has the 4.0ah battery. The blower uses a lot of battery I have heard so this 4 ah may fit your needs better. This deal do t seem all that slick to me just my 2 cents ps don't remember details or specs but in store Lowe's also had a craftsman string trimmer blower combo on sale for 99$. And a kobalt brand blow string trim combo on sale for 149$

The Lowe's bundle also had a 615 CFM blower vs this 560 CFM one at ACE.

This is the 530cfm blower, the lowest in the line. I bought this combo a few years ago at Ace for $250, but it only came with a 2.5ah battery. It gets the job done in my yard, as long as the leaves aren't too wet.

They tried a 420cfm model once, but discontinued it after injuries resulting from attempted usage as a bong.

Got the same deal last year and for the most part I've really liked both pieces. Blower is plenty for my needs as is the trimmer....Blower does go through the battery faster than the trimmer it seems. I've only had crappy worx and black and Decker electric trimmers before and this trimmer is infinitely better.

Is it possible to buy this deal and then "hack" it by returning the battery/blower since all I really want is the trimmer?
