I bought this gimbal for my Sony's, and it works fine, pretty much up to a certain weight. It definitely can't handle long lenses or heavy prime lenses. I can barely get it stable for my sony a7 iii + the sigma 40mm f1.4, the glass is just too heavy, and it makes the balancing a pain.
Couple good stuff for this gimbal is that it is cheap, and it teaches you some concepts for basic beginner cinematography such as balance and weight distributions. You can mount your camera landscape and hit one of the modes that makes it portrait, or you can mount this portrait as it has its own L bracket-mount. Gimbal itself is great, has great battery life. It's modular in a way that you can separate the remote and the gimbal and still be able to control all the axis, features, etc.
The cons for me are definitely advertised payload weight versus actual product weight, they say 7lbs+ payload but it can barely handle a Sony a7iii (with battery) + sigma 40mm f1.4, which has a combined weight of 4-5 lbs.
Anyway, very good price for a great gimbal, if you have lighter lenses.
