Can this be used with an iPhone Pro Max? I have other gimbals but they can't handle the weight of the bigger iPhone.

Check out the reviews on BH and YouTube... It has some major design flaws

That's what I was looking for as well. After some light googling, my understanding is no unless you use a mount adapter. Also the gimbal can't connect to the phone like it can connect to the compatible cameras, so not sure how you'd go about starting to record/capture/change settings other than doing it on the phone itself.

I bought this gimbal last year and it's definitely way too much gimbal for a phone. If you are shopping for a phone gimbal there are plenty smaller, more compact gimbals for smartphones available for cheaper.
I bought this gimbal for my Sony's, and it works fine, pretty much up to a certain weight. It definitely can't handle long lenses or heavy prime lenses. I can barely get it stable for my sony a7 iii + the sigma 40mm f1.4, the glass is just too heavy, and it makes the balancing a pain.
Couple good stuff for this gimbal is that it is cheap, and it teaches you some concepts for basic beginner cinematography such as balance and weight distributions. You can mount your camera landscape and hit one of the modes that makes it portrait, or you can mount this portrait as it has its own L bracket-mount. Gimbal itself is great, has great battery life. It's modular in a way that you can separate the remote and the gimbal and still be able to control all the axis, features, etc.
The cons for me are definitely advertised payload weight versus actual product weight, they say 7lbs+ payload but it can barely handle a Sony a7iii (with battery) + sigma 40mm f1.4, which has a combined weight of 4-5 lbs.

Anyway, very good price for a great gimbal, if you have lighter lenses.

Thanks for the insight! I was looking for one that can carry a heavy payload (iPhone 15PM with case + MagSafe battery + MagSafe SSD stacked on top of the battery with some extra magnets). Ultimately will probably end up going with something like a DJI Pocket, I was just hoping to utilize existing hardware that I already have with a gimbal that can handle a heavy payload

I owned two of these, one broke and it took them two months to send me a replacement. Overall they are very solid and heavy duty.

Thank you so much for this feedback! I've been hoping to upgrade my current gimbal, but it sounds like it'd be a lateral upgrade for my Sony.

I ordered one, for what it is it seems like a bonkers deal honestly. I've got a zve10 and may be getting an a7cii and this gimbal seems perfect for them.

I have an Olympus EM1 Mark iii. It is not on the compatibility list. It has a USB-C port that I assume will connect. Has anyone tried this? What would I miss out on?
