What is the drawback with poly? Honest question, not an attack. I have some of the Kenneth Cole that are on sale dor $35 right now. They are poly and they look pretty good imho. I have dry cleaned them a few times and they seem to be holding up. I was going to buy some more at this price. Is there a particular wool / blend modern fit pant you recommend?

It just feels really plasticky. If it's all one can afford and you have to wear dress pants, well I was like n my 20s once too.

But wool is far superior in terms of breathing, no static, light, strong, etc.

A good compromise is 60/40 wool and poly. J Crew factory has these for example. That gets you almost all the benefits of wool but also the no iron property and low cost, relatively
