We quit going to KFC's in our area because they were always out of half of the things we wanted to order. I suspect it was more like the employees couldn't be bothered to prep foods that were more work. The fact that y'all are reporting the prices and activity for KFC in your area makes me wonder if this is unique to where I live and we should try it again next time we're traveling. If I could walk in, order a $10 bucket, have it in hand in a reasonable amount of time I'd give it a try.

Definitely dried out leftovers stuck in these buckets. Not doing this again.

If you have a Publix in your area….this is the every day price (think it's actually a dollar less for dark meat only box) and is significantly better than KFC imo. KFC has good flavor, but in the last few years has gotten too salty and too soggy (for the original)

There is no deal for me in Northeast Missouri.
The best offer is 2 pieces of chicken, roll, and the mashed potatoes and gravy for $4.99.

It depends on the store. I had some very bad experience in few locations including one very close to my place. But the other ones been ok

Sounds fun but is just not true. Almost all the KFC stores are owned by franchisees. They would not allow such stupidity.

This deal came up on slickdeals last time i went ahead and ordered. Like i said earlier, they were cold, soggy. The coating is supposed to be crispy, what's the point of a fried chicken if you just eat the salty cooked chicken. I threw away 5 pieces out of 8. Its an art to create perfectly fried chicken, youtube is full of so many videos creating perfect ones but the origin of fried chicken itself is inedible.
