Yes, they are pretty good, similar level of performance compared to the AMD RDNA3 based integrated gpu.

In that case this deal seems great for an ultrabook

I'm still waiting until June ( when the Snapdragon laptops come out), but this is an amazing deal.

I expect the Snapdragon laptops will apply downward pressure on the rest of the market. I'm going to put a 4TB SSD in one of these ultrabooks. I actually prefer Macs, but you have to spend like 4k for a MacBook with that much storage. Plus in 2 or 3 years the 8TB SSDs should be affordable.

ARM on Windows is still unproven. This is a full CPU with full support.

Spend $999 on Amex card and get a $150 statement credit.. may be considering adding the i7 processor in the customization to get to the $999 price point? Any alternative suggestions from my fellow SDers Smilie to make this even better?

Better deal than the Asus Zenbook 14 from the other day? Seems this has 32 gigs of RAM vs 16 and only the HDD is smaller, which can be upgraded. Any thoughts? I'll take back the Zenbook back and get this if build quality is good on these too

Build quality is very good on this one but a bit heavier too.

I also got the ZenBook deal the other day. The screen resolution and refresh rate are higher on this HP one. The higher resolution, I think, has pros and cons on a mobile device (higher resolution often leads to shorter battery time). I'm thinking I'll keep this ZenBook for the slightly cheaper price. FHD and 60hz are fine for Office work and watching Netflix ...

This price includes the i7.

You can include shipping and tax - Amex doesn't care if the machine is $999, but if the total charge is. You can get a custom color, expedited shipping, and throw in the sleeve, that gets me to $1,004 with tax.

Does the HP have touchscreen? I can't seem to find anything that says it does so I'm assuming it doesn't?

What's the build quality of the Pavilion Plus line? That's a relatively low-end line, right?

Correct, but the new Snapdragon laptops will probably motivate manufacturers to drop their prices to compete.

I don't need a new laptop right now anyway, I can wait.

Same question. Someone gave me an old xps. My first touch screen laptop. Not 2-in-1. Not really for drawing like a dedicated pad or ipad. But so convenient. I used to think it's a gimmick. How often do i touch my laptop screen. Once i tried the 13" xps i won't go back to non-touch. I want this laptop. It seems to have everything except for touch screen. When HP or lenovo make one in this price range i'll buy.
