Do users just have auto alerts to come and say uneducated stuff about pre-builts? Lenovo Legion uses standard ATX and there are YouTubes about how to upgrade the power supply, like the one below:

It's almost like they watch one video from that clown LTT and suddenly they think they've earned a COMPTIA A+ certification.

This fairly popular rig from Costco is back in stock. Although it has a 4070 super 12gb, I believe it has a i7 14700k cpu and larger HD.

Not all states receive it tax free 🙃
In fact, only states with no sales tax, such as Delaware, will receive it tax free. Comments like that guy's make me lol. It isn't 2015 anymore.

That's a decent deal as well, but there are caveats you have to consider.

That one uses a B760 chipset versus the Z790 in this, so you lose out on things like 2.5Gb ethernet, more PCIe lane expansion, a slightly better USB configuration (chipset level, not the actual ports on the system), and overclocking capability. (Keep in mind this is a general assessment based on the chipsets. Individual boards might have different features.)

If you're not using a wired connection, planning on adding more NVME drives, or want to overclock, that might not be as relevant.

But I think getting the 4070 Ti for $50 more makes this an easier decision overall.

Also noticed B&H offers 1 year warranty for this deal but Costco's offers 2 years if people want to take that into consideration.

CPU is little older than costco's.

B/c of comments of some purchasers receiving used/faulty desktops for costco's deal, I checked return policies and B&H does reimburse shipping fee for returning faulty items and can only do equal exchange i believe; as for Costco, it's a short drive for some folks to just drop off and forget, fyi.

So far i really like this deal, costco's cyberpowerpc $1600 one (4070 super), and the expired Dell Alienware $1700 one (4070 super ti). Getting a feel for what the market's offering atm... and perhaps wait until 7/4

This is a pretty solid deal for a pre-built.

Lenovo offers a 3 year warranty extension for $58 if you absolutely need that level of coverage.

Otherwise, it's a 1 year warranty from the date of registration.

The convenience of returning things to Costco is nice, but you have to accept that you're getting a lesser system overall.

Moreover, Costco does reserve the right to cover the system under warranty rather than just doing a straight return.

As long as you are returning within 90 days, you can just return at Costco, there is no such warranty enforcement unless you are passed the 90 day mark.

I wouldn't consider that a warranty, just by the base assumption that a warranty implies you actually want the system and something happens to be wrong with it.

Although it shouldn't be condoned, the 90 day return policy can be used on a fully working system.

???? Huh? If it is brand new in box, used but you changed your mind, or something is not working quite right, or whole system is non functional, all of those scenarios can be returned, no questions asked (well, they will prob ask if there is something wrong with it, but regardless of the answer they will accept return) within 90 days.

I'll never buy another Lenovo computer ever again. I bought a Lenovo legion gaming desktop at Costco 2 years ago. Since I upgraded the video card a year ago, my sound went out. Had to install the old one back. Still using the original.
Also, computer locks up daily. I have to reboot at least once a day.
Even when it was under warranty Lenovo did nothing to fix it. They said video card manufacturer knows about the issue and they are working on a fix, but Geforce said they know nothing about it.

Their credit card returns the tax at checkout.

Yeah, that's not a warranty. That's a return policy.

A warranty claim assumes you actually want to keep the system.
