This or the costco one? https://www.costco.com/acer-nitro...57379.html
This has hdr 400 with 1500r 180hz refresh rate, costco one has hdr 10 with 1000r 165 refresh rate. Is 1500r and 1000r that different?
As far as I can tell - The XZ342CU is slightly better in brightness 400nits, 180hz vs. 300nits, 165hz for the ED343CUR. 1000R is a little less curved than 1500R. These are some of the cheapest monitors in this size / form factor so I wouldn't expect $500 monitor results from these 'entry level' Acer monitors.

1000R is more curved than 1500R. The smaller the number the more curved. 1000R is too much for my taste. 1800R is perfect for me.
I can't tell if this is VA or IPS. On Acer Recertified website it says it's IPS. The official acerrecertified vendor on Ebay also lists this model as IPS. So does target and amazon. However on Newegg it says it's a VA panel. Also every other variant of this XZ342CU model uses a VA panel. And there are no reviews specifically on this model (pn UM.CX2AA.303).
