Flip open top. Put your finger on the little hole. Turn bottle over right above dispenser. Remove finger from little hole. Squirt to fill dispenser. Put finger back on little hole. Turn bottle right side up. Flip close top.

Never spills a drop that way.
Thanks. If you add a tiny amount of this to your soap cannon when cleaning your outside windows it helps with streaking
It's supposed to rinse off your dishes, not dry onto them. The idea is that if makes water so slick that it drips right off, rinse aid included.

If it dries on, you will see the streaks - usually happens to the dishes closest to the dispenser right after refilling it.

I'm not sure how distilled vinegar is a replacement. Distilled vinegar is a cleaning agent on its own, but we're not looking for extra cleaning here, we're looking to make water bead up and drip off.

But you could be right. I still can't get over the fact that there's micro-plastic in all our water - in our oceans, in our drinking water, in commercial bottled beverages, in our beer! We're consuming micro-plastic on a daily basis. And the chemicals that permeate our soil from decades of dumping chemicals are now in our wheat, oats, and rice as they just absorb them from our soil. And who knows how many PFAS chemicals we ingested from all those years cooking on Teflon pans. We humans have been incredibly short-sighted when it comes to preserving our environment and our long-term health.

Edit: And I just read this morning that Lunchables were found to contain lead. WTF are we doing? We're effectively poisoning our kids for corporate profits. I mean, I'm sure they're not putting lead into the Lunchables - it's not like the companies that put melamine into baby formula to save money and secure their spot in a very special level of hell. But the fact that they can't - or can't be bothered - to make food for children with getting lead in the mix is pretty appalling.

Buy Cascade instead. The bottle / pour design on Finish Jet Dry is abysmal. You'll be lucky to get half the product into the rinse aid dispenser.

Can't get the coupon to work twice. Thanks though OP, in for 1.

Also to spillage... take off the cap entirely and pour. Been doing that for 8+ years now.

Serious question, is this bad for you? Seems unhealthy to have this chemical dry on your dishes. I heard you can just add distilled vinegar in its place, anyone try that?

Good procedure, but you left out one step, right before the last step:

Remove finger from the little hole.

I hate to think about how many people got injured trying to close the cap onto their finger!

I used to make my own rinse aid with vinegar, citric acid, and rubbing alcohol but I read it's not good for the machine because it dries out the seals.

DO NOT USE VINEGAR
Vinegar slowly corrodes rubber parts inside killing your machine slowly.

How do you get it to give you subscribe and save for one but not the other when they are the same item?
I didn't understand how to do this at first either, but here's how you can get 4 for $1.47 each:

1) Add first item to your cart as a "One-time purchase".
2) Go to your cart and click "Save 5% now with Subscribe & Save" for that item.
3) Go back to the product page for that item and add another to your cart as a "One-time purchase".
4) Add second item to your cart as a "One-time purchase".
5) Go to your cart and click "Save 5% now with Subscribe & Save" for the second item.
6) Go back to the second item product page and add another to your cart as a "One-time purchase".
7) Go to Checkout, and click "Save 5% now with Subscribe & Save" for the extra two items.

Doing this I got 4 for $5.88 + tax.

My dishwasher guzzles this stuff for some reason. Only a few drops of rinse aid are needed but my machine must spray a whole ounce. A full tank only lasts about 6 washes for me. Don't use vinegar; that's bad for the seals and parts in the dishwasher.

Also, if you have soft water you don't really need a rinse aid. I just use the heated dry function and everything comes out dry and spotless. (Except for the underside of mugs, or other things that can hold a little bit of water. I carefully pull out the top rack and those get toweled off)
