Other vendors will have hubs with more C ports soon, or may have already released. Some upstream USB chip manufacture recently released a new product and all the OEMs are starting to put out the new models. I know Anker already has one too, but no buttons on that one. Big feature on the new hubs is USB PD and PPS.

I have about a dozen USB 3 cables connected to it, each connected to an external HDD, so I can just plug the power cable in and not have to mess with finding the drive and connecting/disconnecting a USB 3 cable.. I have a wired headset, wireless dongle (logitech MX), Jabra dock, Jabra dongle, Streamdesk, Loupedeck, Wacom tablet, USB Label printer, Pixel watch charger, Fitbit charger, Alexa, 4x SD Card readers, and a couple random Micro/Mini/USB 3/USB C cables that can be plugged into other devices as needed.. Basically a lot of totally unnecessary stuff, but stuff that makes everyday life easier. Being able to have it all connected at once, rather than shuffling around to plug/unplug cords is just a nice quality of life thing, especially for any creative uses (photography, videography)

I bought a new Motherboard for my upgrade to AM5 and ended up with less USB ports than before.
I've had this hub for years now and it's been super reliable. I use the charging only ports for charging my headphones, or a simple device like my bike flashlight.
I'd buy this again if you need a lot of USB ports, but crazy to me this was on sale for $25 back in 2018, even with inflation this should be closer to $31 today.
