AliExpress. Type in AER. Half the price and factory perfect. The bags from AER are made in China. Probably factory overruns made with same exact material and specs. Get them while they are available. Included CPP, day sling 3, and Day sling 3 max and others. Xpac.
Don't have to hate, it's just a suggestion if someone can't afford to buy direct. I usually say support the company but these are literally made in China and people are still making a profit selling them half price so AER is pricing them a little too high. I've also bought bags from them direct to support the business, just not all of them. I couldn't tell a single difference in bags.
I own the Tech Pack 2 and it's probably my favorite travel tech bag. It can hold a lot with all it's compartments. My one and only complaint is that the bag cannot stand upright on it's own, empty or full. Small gripe but if anyone cares about that, just fyi.
Travelon brand has anti theft bags, fanny packs, etc. most under $60.. build quality is phenomenal. Paying more than $50 for a dang fanny pack is ridiculous
Travelon got that vibe of someone from Nebraska traveling to New York for the first time thinking they'll get mugged every 30 minutes.
I've had my eye on the Day Sling 3 x-pac. Too bad it isn't on sale. Too much for me. I'd use it while traveling
Packhackers on youtube review things like these. I like their vids. If you're looking for travel backpack reviewish, they decent
I have the Day Sling 3 X-Pac and the max version too in X-Pac. Both are great. I also got some Alpaka bags. Stupid me I got the Alpaka bags before the Aer bags. I have not even used the Alpaka bags because I wanted to see the Aer bags. When I got the Aer bags I didn't even bother with the Alpaka bags. Money wasted on Alpaka bags. Oh well.
Wish the travel pack 3 or city pack pro or sling 3 were on sale.. that outside small zip pocket is useful for quick use, rather than having to open the full pockets and the increase in sizing..
When I travel international, a 25-40 liter backpack with a carry on is usually good for me to last 2-4 weeks..
Of course if I plan to buy stuff, you'll want to swap that carry on with a check in luggage.

Dammit I want the Tech Pack but I literally have like 30 backpacks. Just got the Nomatic travel pack and used it on a couple trips and it was fantastic, feel bad cheating on my Peak Design with it bit it's superior to anything for travel. Still want that Aer though. 🤔
I mean, you could open up them DMs and sell some slightly used bags to us poor college students... Assuming that doesn't break forum rules.

Ha Ha, maybe. I do have some I have to sell. I have a brand new Wandrd 31L backpack with all the accessories that I have literally never used. I just usually put stuff on FB. Funny thing is one of the few bags I ever sold was my first Peak Design 20L and then I ended up buying one again. Here's a bag to look out for if you can find one that I have, Marmot Gunnison 35L, 800 pockets and sections in it, super comfortable straps, even has a show section in the bottom. Amazing backpack, Dick's used to sell it. That, my PD 20L and my Nomatic are forever bags.

That Marmot looks like one to look for. I'm not sure how I'd like the rolltop, even if I could afford the Wandrd one!

I love my alpaka! Are you saying aer is that much better?

I think so. The most gripe I have with Alpaka is the strap. It is nice and thick but the looping parts to the FidLock bulges out and does not stay down instead it pops up around the looping area. Maybe it is because I have not broken them in.

The one bag looks like a somsonite rebranded almost.
My Aer is going strong after about 2 years and shows no signs of wear whatsoever. The quality, design, and materials are vastly superior.
Final Sale. This item cannot be returned.
