Definitely YMMV on the infinite free trials trick, but it's worth giving it a try in exchange for free Platinum (you just have to repeat the process every 3 months). The link below lets you run the script online, or you can click through and download it to your computer.

To run it online, click the Fork button and create or sign in to a free Replit account. After you're signed in, click My Repls in the menu and find activate_radio. Finally, click the green Run button and enter your Radio ID when it asks for it (no other personal information needed). It will display a whole bunch of text, including an error message or two, but that's normal. As long as you see Success in there somewhere, it may have worked.

Leave your car turned on for 5-15 minutes in view of the sky and your radio should be activated. If not, try it again once or twice as the activation process can be a bit unreliable. If it still doesn't work after that, you're probably out of luck.

I don't think you know what a fact is. 🤔
Not today satan. Never again will I deal with SiriusXM

Really blows my mind that after all these DECADES, SiriusXM still hasn't figured out how to add a cancelation option (or don't want to)
They don't want to. Some people will just keep paying rather than spend the time. Most who actually do spend the time will end up accepting a retention offer.

I tried to cancel my subscription to take advantage of this offer but ironically their website works fine until you get to the cancellation part and then it comes up with a page saying they're having technical difficulties and to contact customer service.
I only use virtual CC's for subscriptions anymore because you can't trust USA businesses or USA laws to keep thieves accountable. Then just kill the virtual card at will when it takes.more.than 1 phone call to resolve your issue

I bought the lifetime contract back in May 2008.
It was $525.
Never looked back.
It's transferable unlimited times with a $35 fee.

I think it's hilarious people are still giving them money. SiriusXM decided decades ago their customers don't matter. They haven't updated their infrastructure in decades. I mean, if you like listening to low bitrate mono audio in your car..........
what are you talking about? it is CD quality and in stereo.

I can get why people wouldn't like the service but this is just blatant lies.

Don't waste your money subscribing to 2 vehicles. Just subscribe once, and use the app to stream in the 2nd car.

I called and got it applied to a 2021 MY car, had to educate the customer service rep. It was a pain, but worth it for 3 years of savings.

That was before the merger, and I had XM. I would have switched but XM had Opie and Anthony.

The website wanted to give me a deal for $5/mo for 12 months for our 24 Carnival, then the full price after 12 months - contacted the Chat/Support - told em I knew about this deal and then they honored it.. they wouldn't let me pay in full but it came to $3.88 after fees per month.. still satisfied!

excellent idea.. Im not real tech savvy, hence the reason I am even entertaining the idea of going with Sirius to begin with Smilie.. But , with the info you provided I will be able to get the wife to enjoy it in her car as well..

I just got the 36 month deal, they tried offering me a 13.99 a month deal first and then another one but finally they settled on the $3 a month plan!

Caveat with that, your app will be using your network carrier data and not satellite signal. Because of that I am contemplating purchasing a stand alone SiriusXM radio where I can carry it with me everywhere I go. The other caveat using your phone is that will also depend on hos strong is your signal.

Is anyone aware of a website/forum that covers the topic of editing the software/firmware on Sirius Radios for educational (non-nefarious) purposes?

I would like to see if it is possible to change the startup logo on a radio. Basically modify it to spell SiriusXM as SiruisXM so I can Prank/Gaslight someone with a long con.

I did this in the past on a family members "Nokea" phones for years and the payoff was so satisfying.
