Right now you can get a Dell XPS gaming PC with this coveted GPU for only $2294.99 shipped after a 10% off coupon code "10OFFCLEAR". RTX 4090 GPUs are currently difficult to find at MSRP; right now, a 4090 GPU on Amazon sells at a $300-$500 markup. If this is the GPU you really want, you will definitely save money by getting this prebuilt PC like this one instead of going the DIY route.

If it isn't, then everyone who reviewed the R13 and R15 Alienware desktops (twice the interior space and fans) and said they thermally throttle are either lying or these XPS reviews didn't do enough to try to run the 4090 and CPU at max.
Or instead, someone can enlighten me how all that hot air is supposed to keep the insides cool?

Motherboards are the first to go, and dell's are absolutely bottom barrel for Power delivery VRM designs. Once it blows, you have to get another one that fits, and that one is just as bad quality if not worse than the first (if buying used).
It's 1000x better some RGB gamer build.
$2295 - 3x120 = $1935.
Decent deal, but no need for such power and still ~2k
I can't imagine putting a 4090 in a pc with 512SSD and 16GB of RAM, it seem lazy and dumb; there are some upgrade options but you'll want to add a few hundred to your budget. I've bought prebuilts but prefer to build. I'd be concerned that if there is a mobo or psu issue you're stuck with a few components. I'd verify upgradeability before buying this because I know you'll want more storage and am sure you'll want to at least double the RAM
