Some real good deals from the Ozark brand lately. I know it's Walmart, but I've had very good luck with this brand and think they make great stuff for the $
yea i went on my first overnight hike a few weeks ago and most of my equipment was ozark trail. it all performed great. im a fan, no plans to replace any of it any time soon
Nice find op. I don't own this one, however I will say this one uses the tree ropes with protective sleeves. Pretty much everyone else has moved to a strap-loop system which tends to be easier, less damage to the trees, and more compact/lighter.
The rope advantage (disadvantage maybe) is they typically have some give/stretch to them.

I've got some of their 30 degree mummy bags, and they actually ISO rated too (vs. older EN or wild manufacturer claims). Great stuff especially for the occasional camper or non-ultralight backpacker.

That's good to know It didn't look like it would hurt trees but it's good to know though. But I guess if you only like camp once a year it would be good enough.
Dont have trees in my backyard, but will this still work if I place this in between 2 wooden posts of my square shape Gazebo? the distance between each post is 96 inches

Walmart outdoor brands have really upped their game

Should work, might be a bit too much slack though. I would look for a more permanent style hammock though (like a cotton weave hammock), this is a lightweight packable one meant for camping. You can obviously still use it, but doesn't look as good or as comfortable as a nice cotton one.

Growing up poor we had a hammock in our front yard between two trees and it was nice in the cooler evenings on hot days and no A/C inside.
The most memorable part for me older now is being forced outside where a lot of your deep conversations with family members or neighbors while swinging back and forth....grandkids would climb in the hammock and horse around or simply swing with grandma.....an hour went by quickly.

Now we stay in our rooms glued to our phones
The art of the hammock afternoon is still alive, friend. Don't worry. It's still alive.
