Oooh weeee. Did this thing always have a usb-c on it? This makes it mildly more appealing to me. Pretty limited use cases for this, but I'm still intrigued.

Yes it does. Perfect for on the go charging. I love mine. Keep expectations simple and keep it to charging devices and MAYBE something like a small TV while camping.

Wish this was hackable. Only want the inverter, not the battery. Crazy how the inverter only is $10 more than the package with the battery. I don't want to deal with the hassle of flipping the battery on FB marketplace or another online marketplace. Just realized also, these are the regular lithium batteries, not the max output line. Frown

Sorry guys, my original key word here was "ALWAYS", as in, is this a revision of the original? I don't recall usb-c being onboard last time I looked at this.

In any case I'm still struggling to justify. I think I'd rather just have 2-3 high output usb-c outs than even mess with minimal ac output.

How fast does it charge via USBC? Would be nice if i could run my laptop of USBC rather than inverting, but that would require ~100W

The description is ambiguous: "The USB-C port is capable of charging faster than conventional wall chargers." WTH does that mean???

One of the Ridgid.com reviews (steveshouldbehere) leads me to believe it's 45W.

I've had mine for probably 2 years and it is exactly the same as this one.

It hits that price point about once a month, but definitely once every two months. In case you feel that you missed out, that sale price will return in a few weeks.

Any way to get the inverter from them (home depot) by itself for cheaper? I've got plenty of batteries.
