Bought these last time for my kids. They don't hold up very well to play the legs and arms fall off with play. They should be fine for displaying. But wanted to give a heads up

These deals came out at just the right time. Was getting birthday gift for a Mario-themed party and found the original Mario on sale for $5 and a Toad on sale for $9 at my local Walmart. They also had a Koopa Troopa w/ Bullet Bill Motorcycle on sale for $6, so I just got all 3 for the birthday party.

Looking online, there some other Mario movie characters on sale like Kamek for $6.15: Super Mario Bros Movie 5 Inch Kamek Action Figure with Wand Accessory https://www.walmart.com/ip/2923379445

I dunno I've found they do pretty well. I mean yea if they're a little rough they'll pop an arm or foot off but it just pops back onto the socket. Ended up buying the whole set because they were all clearanced at my local store for $5 a piece (Bowser was $12). My kid loves em

I found these to be very high quality and durable. I wonder if the comments about them not holding up are talking about the smaller ones (about 2 inches in height). That same brand also makes some sonic figures. These are much larger and in my opinion, the most solid figures we have that my kids play with.

EDIT: I'm talking about the 5 inch figures like the tanooki ones. The smaller ones that match the playset I would never buy again.
