The extra stuff they throw in is essentially worthless.

A) if you're buying a 4000 series card, you likely have a better CPU cooler anyways.
B) 256GB is nothing anymore. And a waste of physical space in your case.

This could be pretty confusing so just let me know if anybody can't get it to work. I can try and help you through it. Tried to write it as best I could. Also I would recommend getting another SSD/HDD instead of the intel stock cooler since the intel cooler is probably unusable for your setup. It's only $1-2 more and you can use it as a backup or boot drive. I tried to share my prebuilt part lists, but I could only do one and it kept changing as I added/removed different items

15% combo discount is no longer applying in the cart. Still shows when you're in the part picker before adding all to cart. Anybody have the same happen?

Wall Street pushing the ai chip narrative thus chip shortage again since crypto mining causing chip shortage didn't work after ethereum implemented staking and now they can't sell chips at elevated prices unless they push the ai chip bubble

Agreed, the freebies are useless in an actual build.

I WAS in that camp. Had a 6700xt. However, I grabbed the 4070 Super for $590. Flipped my 6700xt for $300. Still an expensive upgrade but it made a huge difference on some demanding games (like Alan Wake, RDR2, etc). If you are gaming in 1440p you can crank anything up and it works great. 6700xt was solid but struggled with newer titles/demanding titles at 1440.

Also, if the market is similar at this point next year for the 5000 series, the 4070 Super should hold its value pretty well, making my next upgrade to the 5000 series less expensive than if I was trying to move the 6700xt.
I am probably one of the oldest people playing Fortnite (55 years old) and that's the only game I play. (It's new to me, only been playing a few months and just play under 30 minutes a day.)

So far I haven't found any other game I like. Not one.

My 6600xt can run it at 3k locked to 60hz with most settings maxed out but ray tracing off, all I would gain is being able to run at 4k, maybe closer to 120hz but the detail level between 3k and 4k isn't even really noticeable to me even on a 77" oled.

I'd buy if it was a $200 jump from the card I have now, but not more than that because the value just isn't there as I'm obviously not a big gamer.

If you think SD cards are as robust as SSD NAND, let me go ahead and stop you there.
Not as robust no, but more savory.

NGL, I stacked this with 10% AFFIRMEDU code and made out like a freaking bandit on a bunch of parts for me and my buddy's upcoming builds. We also stacked the "combo-up" savings on items that were already "shell shocker" or daily sale items.

We got 3500 worth of gear for 2.2k!

Jump on these, especially if there are stackables.

For example, 4070 Super Gigabyte Eagle Ice was marked down to 498 after all the stackables. NEW!
