For those saying to buy them at Dollar Tree, the quality on those is absolute junk. I have a pair sitting in my drawer from there and while they technically "work", the clip that keeps them closed no longer functions so they just stay spread open the entire time.
LOL. Yes they sell tongs but it'll rust after a month. I have some. In for 2. Good price

Been using these tongs for a while now, and they still look and work like new. Highly recommend

I have similar ones from another brand, found many uses for them. These also work from fishing things out from the top shelves or tight spaces. Silicone tips are very useful, great grip and can be used on nonstick pans.

Just threw this out. Rivet gives out and falls apart.

The rivet and closure clip are the same assembly. All tongs will wear out there eventually, there exists no tongs on the market that I know of that are immune to this, so you need to buy models you are comfortable rebuying regularly. That being said of course some are worse than others. For instance good ones made of quality stainless steel shouldn't be rusting, even if they do wear out at the joint.

I think these are the same kind of junk. Just with a name brand slapped on there and a higher MSRP. Even another poster said that the clip broke on these too

Yes, the Cuisinart tongs purchased on the Feb deal are strongly magnetic. The steel is heavy gauge. The lock mechanism works well. The spring is stronger than it should be which some find unacceptable.. I may buy a second pair to cut off the silicone. Highly annoying the whey the Si causes food to slip away.

lol I ordered this last time and they sent me a whole box (4 units apparently). I already had 2 sets of tongs just wanted silicone ones too so now I have 6.

They're decent fwiw. A bit on the shorter end so for hot temp searing might splatter oil on your hands but I have other metal tongs for that.
