For those wondering about 24" for a desk.
I've been using the Karlby from IKEA for the last 4 years and love it. It was $100+ more than this so this is a great price for a solid wood desktop.

The Karlby though has a depth of ~26" and I use some mounts from Amazon for the monitors to save on desktop space. I temporariliy had an LG 42" C2 and that was too large for the space (I couldn't sit far enough from it) so I had to wall mount it behind the desk. Right now though I'm rocking an Alienware 32" 4K OLED and it's the max size I'd recommend for a 16x9 for a desk of this depth.

I'm adding a pic of my Karlby setup with it with a large Fractal Torrent case, 34" ultrawide and dual 27" monitors so ya'll can have an idea (it's what I had set up till the 32" a month or two ago).

Kind of an in-depth response, but personally I think it's a great deal and 24" depth should be enough for most users though it's cutting it close.

Design Within Reach Outlet - they have some great deals on Embody chairs. I know they have one in Oxnard, CA and there's another in San Marcos, TX. I don't know if there are others outside of those two.

That 2" makes a huge difference unless you are rocking 24" monitors

True but If you don't use monitor mounts 24" is noticeably too cramped.

Regardless, this is a great deal on this tabletop

What mounts are those? I never though of putting my side monitors above my main.

Trick question. I recommend checking out this
https://www.amazon.com/WALI-Monit...B072N1MFJK

But I'm using two of these
https://www.amazon.com/WALI-Singl...B01IWOCCOW for the top monitors because I wanted a tad more space with the 27's.

Right now I have the 32 in the middle with a 27 landscape on the left side and the other 27 vertical on the right next to my PC. It's a weird layout but my neck was getting tired of the verticalness of it after a couple years haha

I think prices have gone up since I got mine in 2021 but it was $750 open-box at the time. It was in flawless condition but supposedly doesn't include a warranty. I wasn't too worried about that part though as they're built well. I think they're closer to $1k now but I think once a month DWR outlets do weekend sales. The store I contacted wouldn't hold it for me but they did send me all the pics I needed of it on via email and I bought it over the phone. All sales are final though. I recommend if you're close just to call and check stock and see if they'll have any sales/deals on them and go buy in person.

What's slick about this? You can get a butcher block countertop same size for the same price, no need for a sale.

Thanks for the additional tips. Bulldog liquidators used to have some good gamer gear occasionally, but I think they are out of business now. If you know of any other local socal liquidators, I'd be happy to hear about them. Thanks again brother!

It has a coating. The one that someone linked from Lowe's is unfinished.
