The setup is kinda clever, it includes a double battery charger and they make smaller tools that use just one of the batteries.
I have a Greenworks 80V mower that takes a single 80V and then I have two 2Ah batteries. One is enough to mow my 1/3 Acre lot with all the technical bits around the house. This should have around 30% more runtime or so according to my back of napkin math.
When it gets cold I sometimes have to break out my second battery for the last 5 minutes, so this should be fine for most out there who otherwise wouldn't buy a riding mower.

Buying a house on almost 0.25 acre that will need mowing. This is a lights-out option for that small amount of yard, right? Been scouring the mower deals and this looks like it, chief?

The greenworks 48v-80v self propelled 21" mowers all have the same "Sony guts". Its not like power tools where double the voltage gets double the power.
It basically comes down to which family you want to start. Personally i would go with either the 80v or the 24v. As the 40v and 60v are only sold at 1 store each.
Then its down to arm chair math. Two 24v 4ah packs is enough to self propel + mulch +high lift blade about a 1/4 acre. You push the thing, while bagging/side discharge, and use the standard lift blade ($20) you can do a 1/2 acre.
Now the cream of the crop is the dual 80v unit. It can house 2 4ah batteries. That would give you almost 4x the run time. But that would cost $360 in batteries.
I went with the 24+24 like this deal, only mine holds 4 batteries. I then collected a few more sets as i bought open box blower and chain saw from amazon for less than the cost of the batteries alone. So i have 4 sets of batteries, but only need 3 sets to do my 3/4 acre with self propel+mulch+standardblade. I find the high lift blade makes too many grass cookies in mulch mode.
Not sure why this is marked dead. Just picked it up in store. Note in store it was marked $449 on shelf and scanned that much too. The cashier price matched the online price. Thanks OP!
This looks like a great deal if you stack with the 10% off Target gift cards. Online price is $319.99. 30% off will get you to $223.99. Buy a $225 gift card for $202.5 and you should be able to get this mower for $200!

Is this deal decent enough or Ego is the way to go?
