Paying $1200 for 13th gen with 300nit with 4060 is wild now. While quite a few other retailers have had much better deals recently, clearing warehouses for next Gen.

p.s. You're not even getting thunderbolt with this laptop.

Nope, that was a different model with an i7 instead of an i9.

Not a great deal tbh. I know Costco free extended warranty and 90 day return policy is something to consider but even then it's hard to justify.

And it has been cheaper than that before. It was available for as low as $1149 2 months ago.

So you would rather save $20 and get an i7 instead of an i9 and lose the extra year warranty that Costco offers?

Everyone that is saying this is not a great deal, please provide what you think is a better deal because I have been looking for days and not finding anything better for this amount with equivalent specs.

I understand that some people are going to weigh certain features above others, but the only knocks against this from what I am reading is poor sound quality (don't really expect any laptop to have good sound compared to external speakers), poor battery life (again don't expect a power hungry gaming laptop to have great battery life) and a good but not great screen (connect to a high quality gaming monitor so not an issue).

I also went to Costco to compare the Lenovo build quality compared to both HP & MSI and quite frankly there is no comparison, Lenovo wins hands down with better aesthetics (IMO), better build quality, better keyboard.

No. Lesser specs and more money.
