Here is a link to vulnerability info from Netgear support. No idea if the one in this deal is affected or patched.

I've been running one of these for the past year. It has worked flawlessly.

Does anybody happen to know if there's a firmware that addresses the above comment?

I'm looking for a cheap router that can run a Wireguard VPN setup smoothly, reliably, for a good price. $45 is a good price.

I mean…any network can get hacked if the hacker is willing enough.

I have this router set up at my parent's 4000 sq ft house and have only reset it once or twice in like 2-3 years.

Any suggestion for an affordable modem that can be paired with it? I'm tired of paying for equipment to Xfinity.

When i had xfinity, their website had a list of modems they accept. Take a look.

I also ran this for about 2 years and no issues. Got rid of it when I went with T-Mobile Home Internet.

Thanks, I will look into it again and see if they have updated anything. Last time when I checked, it only listed 1 Arris modem that's compatible with my internet speed

If you have ATT fiber, their standard (Cisco) brouter works very well.

Used to have to shop on these wifi gateways about every year, but the ATT box delivers near line speed, up and down.

That and MoCA's took care of all connectivity, thanks to SD knowledge sharing!

can anyone comment about managing the device? why does it sound like if you want to manage at the granular level with app, you need to pay the NETGEAR SUBSCRIPTION?!!?
