I have Google WiFi which seems to be 10mbit over wired and like 500k over wireless. I have 1g fiber at the new house but has a detached studio. It's a rental so I am not going to bury a cat6 line underground or anything. I need the studio to use WiFi6 for VR stuff. If I have two pucks in the house and one in the studio, it seems the wireless tx speed is capped at half or less but it says wired is much higher. So does that mean wired from any puck or just the one physically connected to the fiber modem ( I know it's not technically a modem)? If so, can I connect one of these to the puck /wifi mesh node in the studio so I can get gigabit speeds in there and use Wi-Fi 6. For my specific VR hardware? Or am I going to have to bite the bullet and find a much more powerful Wi-Fi mesh? But does 1 gig or higher wirelessly?
I'd say the studio is a good 40 ft away with many walls and some shit in between the two physical buildings.

you can get highest speeds with 5ghz 80mhz wide band but that reduces range...need a good antenna.
interference another factor...is it a busy, populated area?
40ft cable from rooftop not possible? that's the cheapest best way by far. You can do 100ft on cat5e and still get 1Gb LAN.
throwing money at a premade mesh won't magically overcome signal and interference issues.

Then again, its only $49 bucks. Can't really complain. Performance is inline with other 2x2 options like the v1 AX58U.
If you're looking for range and have a ton of older AC clients, buy 4x4 radios.

From what I read, the RAX35 is the Walmart version of RAX40 with a USB 2.0 port instead of USB 3.0.
