OP should add the required port in is limited to transfers from specific providers. It looks like they're targeting post paid service, so anyone with lower cost prepaid service plans might not qualify.

According to the fine print:
"port-in (AT&T, Verizon, Claro, US Cellular, Xfinity, Spectrum & Liberty PR only) required."

I have legacy one plan and pay $100 for 2 lines. There was a promo supposedly for 3rd free line BYOD which Tmobile reps told me Im eligible for and apparently I was not and I found it out later. They kept charging me $40 extra every month for third line until I finally got it somewhat "resolved" through tforce support that indirectly told me that numerous overseas reps I had interaction with just untrained idiots that they had no idea what there were doing. Though there was nothing tforce could done other than issue me a credit for 12 month. After that period I will switch to other carrier. This particular deal is good on paper but be aware because Tmobile are notorious in screwing up their customers and usually blatantly lie about promotions and it just a matter of time until they will fail you. Im not saying dont get this deal, but just be cautious!

Old grandfathered plans had tax and fees included. I am one or one+ , something like that, and fees/tax is included. They don't charge them separately. Also, it is supposed to never go up for life.

I have the Essentials plan and I would like 4 new phones. I was told I could trade in an iPhone 13 for 200 and get another $200 promotion. That doesn't seem like a deal at all.

Pretty good deals at the moment, just switched from AT&T and got two new iPhone 15 pros and they bought out our old phone installment plans - up to $800/line

According to T-mobile a minimum of $3.69 extra per line per month
(so generally $15 - $31 extra a month for taxes and fees)

"Additional Charges & Terms
Provider monthly fees

Regulatory programs / Telco recovery fee
$3.49/line
Federal & Local Surcharges
(periodically set by gov. & vary by location)
Typically
$0.20-$4.25/line"

Taxes kill this deal, I live in a state where cell phones are obliterated by taxes. So I'm still stuck with Visible.

Omg this happened to me too. It went on and on and finally I got fed up and gave up. I would change if the others had better prices but they still don't. Argh !

That is correct, and although the amount varies by city and state, my guess is that the fees are close to $20/month and could be more. They are very sneaky about this and you really have to pin down a rep if you want to find out in advance. Even then, they often have excuses as to why they cannot give you a firm quote.
Blame your state/county/etc. government for difficulty in quoting you exact tax amount. Amount of tax in cell phone bills are different even across different county in same state.

That said, NEVADA has one of the lowest cell phone taxes in the country. When I was on the old legacy plan with added taxes, I set my billing address to an address of a Vegas Hotel to reduce my tax burden. Since billing was all e-bill, I had no issues except for 1 time when T-mobile sent my wife's replacement phone to the hotel for some reason even though I set the shipping address in the order to my home correctly. I had to call the hotel and asked them to just return the package to the sender. (I just pretended that I stayed there a month back or something like that and package was sent there by mistake)

I'm on the legacy one plan as well, and in almost that exact same situation with the opposite outcome. I was able to get the 3rd line free, and no issues at all. Sorry tmobile sucked for you, I love them right now personally.
