OP should add the required port in is limited to transfers from specific providers. It looks like they're targeting post paid service, so anyone with lower cost prepaid service plans might not qualify.

According to the fine print:
"port-in (AT&T, Verizon, Claro, US Cellular, Xfinity, Spectrum & Liberty PR only) required."

I have legacy one plan and pay $100 for 2 lines. There was a promo supposedly for 3rd free line BYOD which Tmobile reps told me Im eligible for and apparently I was not and I found it out later. They kept charging me $40 extra every month for third line until I finally got it somewhat "resolved" through tforce support that indirectly told me that numerous overseas reps I had interaction with just untrained idiots that they had no idea what there were doing. Though there was nothing tforce could done other than issue me a credit for 12 month. After that period I will switch to other carrier. This particular deal is good on paper but be aware because Tmobile are notorious in screwing up their customers and usually blatantly lie about promotions and it just a matter of time until they will fail you. Im not saying dont get this deal, but just be cautious!

Their "credit" system is hard to read through. I did a phone trade in that gave me a discount through credits. Its so hard to figure out what is being charged on my bill.

i doubt i'm getting ripped off, but i wouldlnt be surprised if i got shafted somehow on this deal.

I had been paying for a couple years on a plan for a family member who turned out not to be using the plan. Contacted T Mobile and they were able to refund me for all those months of the unused line. YMMV

I'm part of a simple choice family plan with unlimited talk and text and 4 gb/month data (not the account owner). I want to get out of this family plan and have my own T-Mobile account with 3 lines. Will I be able to take advantage of this kind of T-Mobile promotion considering I'm with T-Mobile currently and want to keep our existing numbers? Thanks.

No. You would have to get all new numbers and the promotion is also port-in required.

EDITED - just noticed I probably won't qualify as I am currently with Straight Talk (though...aren't they Verizon now?????)

I'm seeing to get the $830 credit on an iPhone 15 pro you have to have an 11 or newer model to trade?

I can get $350 off of a 14 pro with a 7+, but that hardly makes it a deal.

Could really use some help because I need to replace the 7+ and have looked at buying outright via eBay (so I can stick with a cheap pay-as-you-go service), but I'm not sure that's even the best play?

Open to some tips/tricks/input! woot

Says iPhone 7+not sure where iPhone SE falls on that timeline.

iPhone 7 release date was in 2016 - SE 2nd gen was in 2020. I'll contact tmobile to see their thoughts though.

Anybody know where I can buy port in numbers from these post paid carriers. I checked on eBay and they are, more often than not, just from their prepaid division or MVNO's.

tax man. I have 2x $15 kickstart. Somehow after tax they are $40. What a scam.

Kickstart tax inclusive plans, man. Still $20/line but saves money when you're adding free lines. I got three lines on one Kickstart TI plan for $20 flat.

This is why I hate mobile carriers' "deals" There's always a catch. I'm just going to stay the course with my Legacy TMobile. I pay $70 for two lines - adding my Mom and getting her a fee iPhone 8. If I go Magenta Max prices go through the roof. Not worth it to me.
